Ideal for commercial audio installs in restaurants, bars, schools, hotels, and much more, the Yamaha VS6 is a highly adaptable passive, 2-way, surface-mounted loudspeaker sold in a pair. These speakers offer a 6.5" LF driver, 1" tweeter, and up to 100W peak power handling, providing rich and high-fidelity sound reproduction.
The VS6 supports both high-impedance 70/100V speaker connections via the integrated 25W multi-tap transformer or a selectable 8-ohm low-impedance bypass for direct connections. The dedicated U-bracket offers flexible surface mounting with both vertical and horizontal positioning options and up to 81° of movement. The VS6 delivers a 90 x 90° coverage. With an IPX3 water resistance rating and a paintable design, these loudspeakers can easily fit into any style or space, including covered outdoor environments. The VS6 includes U-brackets for mounting, retaining knobs, terminal covers, and terminal cover screws for protecting the barrier strip inputs.
Easy Adapt to Any EnvironmentThe VS Series' smart and compact construction makes them well suited to locations where interior design is a consideration. Black and white models are available to choose from to match your applications. The speakers also feature waterproof enclosures and transducers which meet IPX3 rating requirements, allowing them to be used outdoors under cover.Internal Transformer for 70/100VTap selector switch is located on the rear panel to select the power tap of 70/100V line-distributed system or 8-ohm sound system. The setting can be easily adjusted by rotating the tap selector with a screwdriver. The terminals and tap selector can be protected using the supplied cover.Flexible Positioning with the Dedicated U-BracketsThe speakers are supplied with dedicated, color-matched brackets for fast and easy installation. The brackets can be set either horizontally or vertically, depending on where you want to mount the speakers.
